When I was about 12, my mother went out for a minute, while I was in the shower, and I had a great idea: I'm gonna blow dry my hair. Of course the round brush got immediately stuck close to my roots. Luckily, we lived nextdoor to my grandmother, who had the patience to untangle it, but it took lot of time and a crochet hook

Oh my god, I got a round brush stuck in a client's hair in my first year - Was doing a bouncy blow wave. (my boss was a nasty peice of work) and i remember freaking out so badly that she would yell at me, that after an hour of trying to get it out - i burst into tears. In that whole hour I was pretending everything was fine, because I didn't want my client to freak out. But eventually i just couldn't do it.
It was a boar bristle brush, a really big one and it got like matted stuck - which my head stylist told me later, was because the brush was old and had melted bristles.
We got the brush out, but we had to cut one cm long chunk out at the end. I cried so much and apoligised for the remainder of the service. Luckily the client was chill and just laughed it off, saying she'd had her hair fried off by another Apprentice so she wasn't stressed. (like, bleach melting her hair off her scalp type of fried)
But it sticks to me to this day. I'm always more careful with everything I do. My cutting, styling or colouring.

And your video's make me learn more, make me realise more and... It's different learning from a hairdresser, then a teacher. So thank you :) And whenever i can relate to you, it helps me to realise that everyone makes mistakes. Because sometimes it feels like nobody makes mistakes but me. So thank you :)
