Finally having curly hair is considered something beautiful and socially acceptable! When I was younger, people used to say that I had "bad hair", so I got used to go the salon to straight it, which was traumatizing and reflected someone rejected. What an achievement now our culture is changing and everyone is free to show they beautiful and perfect curls!

the brushed out curly lion manes are breathtaking. as someone who's always had nearly bone-straight very fine & oily hair, a giant fluff ball of brushed curls just gives me chills. it looks like the effect of a full tulle ballet gown, which is literally my favourite thing to wear ever.

I used to be called “mop head” growing up because I had this messy puffy curly hair that I had no idea how to take care of. I became conditioned to believe straight hair was beautiful and fell into ironing my hair for years. My hair became very damaged and wouldn’t grow past a certain length and it wasn’t until I was 28 that I did the big chop and began embracing my natural curls.

It’s been four years now and my hair has grown SO much and is so much healthier and defined, I never thought my hair would ever get to this point in my life. I get a lot of compliments and it really helps me to feel like I made the right choice in embracing my natural hair. All hair types are beautiful, but as a curly girl who grew up self conscience of her curls - I’m so glad to see curls being appreciated and embraced ! ❤

Brad calling me beautiful is wonderful! Back when I was in a worse life, making horrible decisions, I stumbled upon his videos and heard him call me beautiful. It made me remember I was beautiful, made me want to feel beautiful again, and helped me start to make more beautiful decisions. I left that ugly life behind years ago.... even the aspects that other people said were impossible to recover from. I feel beautiful again and live a very beautiful life! Thank you, Brad!
