Labor productivity would increase without screens due to people dealing with boredom through work rather than being a cyber socialite.

If every screen disappeared, then I would burn into a crisp. I need my sun screen bro.

The simple answer to this video is that life would go back to the way it was "before screens", which is about the equivalent of the 1920s or a bit before.

Ironically, a very classic science fiction short story from the 18th century does shed some light on a screen-less interface with computers. The story goes that a detective is trying to solve a case. He rides in the back of his horseless carriage. (In other words, an automobile. Probably being driven by another person. Think limousine.) The story very specifically states that he is gaining his information from a rather distant college. His interface? A typewriter. In other words, a totally mechanical device that uses mechanical means of pressing ink onto paper. No screen. Ironically, this short story also has great insight on not only the coming of the internet, but wireless communications. As the story explicitly makes it clear that paragraphs of information to the inquiry are relayed back in mere seconds. Which would be way too short of a time for any Human to pull out sheets of paper from a filing cabinet and probably too quick for even a great typist to work at, as the key strokes are constant. However, as stated, our poor Earth would probably be stripped clean of all trees, just to support such a system to the masses.

I regret ever buying a smartphone. But at the same time, I need it to interact with family from a far distance. That’s about it.

We don't use the phones the phones are using us. If a hacker gets you your done. If a jealous heart gets a whole of you your done.

Interesting idea. We would essentially be blind to our own data. I think we'd have to get accustomed to audio interfaces. It would be frustrating at first, but I suspect people would adapt to it amazingly well.

You just described most of my childhood. A note on paper, if we switched to hemp paper we could drastically improve that situation

Space travel would have never made it off the ground so no satellites no GPS and if I remember right. An asteroid was shifted away from hitting Earth a while back. So that would have never happened. Yeah we're all dead. Earth is dead. You asked.
