Thanks for the help, for me it was just searching the file in the pc, cause not all, but only few files disappeared from my desktop, for no reason, my pc has no viruses at all.
Win11 can be strange sometimes :D I found the desktop folder where I could see the files that were not visible on the main desktop, so it´s really weird :D

the problem i'm finding out is that I don't know which files are missing. I can remember one folder that I frequent often, but I don't remember every file that I've had in my folders so how can I know which ones are actually missing?

you have desktop, downloads, documents, pictures these folders inbuilt in the file explorer but mine pictures folder just disappeared after i turned off back up files and this folder was locked now the files are there but i cannot access them plus this picture folder is lost
