If the app icon is hidden from the home screen of your android device then you have to make sure that the app is still installed in your device. So what I will do I will go to this home screen and I will search for an app "calculator". So this app if you see it is shown here that means it is installed in my device. But this app is right now missing from the home screen of my android device and if I have to bring it back I will go to "settings". Here I will go to "Display". I will go to this home screen. I will go to this option "Hide apps" and if you see under this hidden app there is "calculator" right now. So if I have to bring this app back to the home screen I will tap on this minus icon and then apply and if I go back to the home screen here I can see the calculator app on the home screen.

If anyone still has the problem. Because only your games are 'invisible'. Here is what you do: go open game launcher, go down click 'more', then settings, and 'show game apps' and finally click 'show games in game launcher and home screen'. That should make your game apps visible again. Because I opened game launcher for the first time that's why it happened.

What a Godsend you are. I had no what happened to my clock app. I use that for my alarm. It wasn't on my Home Screen or you know your other screens.But when I went to settings, it was under my apps but I did not know how to get it back on my Home Screen. I had no idea I accidentally "hid" it. Thank you so much!

Thank you very much! Home Screen was under its own menu in settings on th Galaxy23 but it worked! That was driving me nuts because I save my work payments log on there!

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Note on Galaxy S10 "Home Screen" is not found under "Display". Under "Settings" there is a separate line called "Home Screen" as its own category.

Settings (gear icon)
Home Screen
Hide Apps
Click on Hidden App to remove (-) by it. Then click DONE at bottom of screen
Now you can find the app icon where Galaxy S10 stores ALL icons, (on main screen page, finger swipe up from the bottom)
Look for your icon. When you find it, press and hold it with your finger. This will allow you to drag it to whichever main screen you want it on.

Thank you. This worked, but I hid the app that was already hidden, and then I went back and reversed what I did, and then the app showed itself again. 😁
