So I perceived my crush is shy, . But confident enough to try and engage in conversation. I felt bad because he said hi and I started talking to him and we talked but I kept staring at his eyes to make eye contact and he was super uncomfortable. He even tried to divert my attention. I think this matches my situation, but at the same time maybe I'm just hoping to be liked which leads me to overanalyze little things and I'm not at all of any significance to this person. In all, maybe it's just my own desire to be liked by that person that is fueling me to be here. And well, if we're both too shy and awkward around each other, then no real connection can happen anyway. Maybe even, they get a weird vibe from me because I'm so nervous all the time. Either way, there is no use in fueling anxious thoughts anymore. I think this will only compound feelings of loneliness. When I feel up to it, I should just talk to them, see how I'm treated, and go from there. A crush is just lack of information, and it's natural to want to fill the missing pieces, but... maybe... it's OK to just acknowledge that.
