I have an unresolved issue with Synchrony Bank. I filed a complaint with CFPB and at the end, I discovered that they have absolutely no jurisdiction over the banks and can only act as a liaison that only forwards the complaint to the company like a messenger, and nothing else.

That's not true because I filled a complaint and nothing has changed. My mortgage company is still overcharge me. Not reporting my payments correctly. Not reporting the correct information to the credit bureau. This has been a nightmare. And, I still have continue to file a complaint because it's always something different from my mortgage company. I'm fighting a battle by myself.

These complaints do not work. The credit bureaus still report negative information and the CFPB closes the compliant.

What do you do when the company - in this case Experian - continues to refuse correcting or deleting incorrect information from my credit report? What exactly does "Feedback Requested" mean? Experian's response is unsatisfactory and does not fix my problem.

They don't do anything for you, just add your complaint to a database for statistical purpose. This whole depth should be abolished, waste of tax payer money!

CFPD doesn’t investigate? Oh I don’t think my issue will be resolved 😬 might get an attorney.

Considering the level of predatory practices of a many mortgage operations today, The CFPB is straight-up useless when it comes to that word they claim (Protection).

This agency is just a waste of federal taxpayers money, they have no jurisdiction, and their role is even weaker than an arbitrator. The rule is just to help big companies and Banks to kick the can down the road to waste consumers time and delay them from filing lawsuits in real courts.

I was violated by a mortgage lender. It was reported to CFBP. The result was a settlement and penalties in favor of the violated consumers. The offending company publicly conceded to wrong doing and their public statement read that they were glad to have a clear resolution. They stated that incidences wee minimal. However, they have not contacted me or replied to me in regard to the docket. How do customers collect when there has been a settlement and civil penalty were posed?

I tried to log a complaint with the CFPB on line. I filled in the CSFB form through page 5 but when I hit "review" (or back) buttons, I get a message saying "Failed to save your complaint" It does not explain why CSFB didn't save the complaint and I don't see any FAQ. This has happened to me twice in a row. What, could cause this error? How can I fix it?

The company said they needed more time then they missed the deadline to respond. What now?

I provided feedback after the company responded. Does a closed complaint mean no more action will be taken?

I gave a dislike for this video, it is not an interview, it is just a scripted scene, both questions and answers are read from a paper.

You people still trying to shut down and choke out payday loan lenders, ammunition suppliers, tobacco outlets, and others?
