If this video gets more than 100K views before the end of Saturday I will show you how I lock up Ken in his dungeon. And I will use the new lock sent in at 7:03. Cheers!

The Soviet Medal you got was actually the Medal "For Distinguished Labour", which is *not* a military medal; it is a civilian medal, awarded to labourers who distinguished themselves with high production rates or for development of

I have an idea. It would be great if you would do like "historic countries" (example: Zaire, Yugoslavia, Confederate States...) after you finish every country and territory.

Good video man! I’m from pohnpei! I commented on the last video about Micronesia but don’t think you saw it. Haha but anyways keep up the good work!

Love how you manage to talk about the Pacific nations with such detail and accuracy.

"I thought Halva was a Middle Eastern thing..."

With 12 timezones, they can be wherever they want to be. But as far as the Middle Eastern thing, I'd like to remind you that Chechnya and Dagastan are both very close to Iran.

There is no Bielefeld. How many times do I have to say this. It's funny that there are still people who believe this. I'm from Germany so I should know.

4:26 Its not a military medal, it says "Trudovoe Otlichie" which means that whoever earned that did especially well in working on something... (I don't know how to explain it better). The literal translation is "Working Speacialty" or something like that. (I speak Russian).

Wow, you can actually read Russian without mistakes! Accent doesn't count ofc. That's cool :)

I wonder how long does it take to ship a package to you from Russia. Wanna send some cool stuff and time to to the Russia episode.
Although, knowing russian post, probably should've sent it a week ago.

Yepp, we Russian sure do love the halva (халва). (: Also, I live in Sweden and we do have both skumbananer and ajvar. I eat ajvar with almost every meal, to be honest. By the way, it's really cool that you got a Soviet medal! I think my grandfather had one of those, actually, and another one with Lenin on it. :p

GREETINGS FROM SWEDEN!
I've been watching since Armenia. ;)

Yes, Barbs. We're DEEP into green tea (and black too). Actually Russia is the 4th world largest tea consumption country per capita (after Turkey, UK and Ireland).

I have lived in Bielefeld for 5 years. The Bielefeld-Verschwörung is alive and well. I like living here.

the medal is not military but rather a medal for hard working which was one of the things u could get a medal for in ussr(cause we valued hard work back then)

I'm from the micronesian islands, born and raised in pohnpei and moved to Phoenix Arizona back in 2005. I never know my own island history. Thank you

Hey Barbs. I have an IDEA! ;)

When you finish the UN recognized countries (alphabetically) or in the 'filler' weeks, would you mind to do some special episodes for countries that don't exist anymore, like:

Soviet Union, 1922-1991.
East Germany, 1949-1990.
Czechoslovakia, 1918-1992.
Yugoslavia, 1918-1992.
Austro-Hungary, 1867-1918.
Tibet, 1913-1951.
South Vietnam, 1955-1975.
United Arab Republic, 1958-1971.
Ottoman Empire, 1299-1922.

etc....
