Actually the Water Festival is unique to Myanmar since they have been celebrating hundreds of years ago unlike any other countries in SEA.

Myanmar guy here! Love your video on our country. Really appreciate your unbiased and beautiful presentation.
Just one thing to point out. In Mm language, we don't pronounce "U" as yu. It's pronounced as "Ou". It's a title rather for senior men. Younger men are titled "Ko" or "Maung". As for women, "Daw" is for being senior, while girls are titled "Ma". We don't have family name but we have a naming system based on the day of the week we are born. For example, I was born on a Tuesday, so my name start with S, Z or N. You can guess their birth day of the week by their name. Cheers!

after watching 1 min of video, a few things to point out first. U is pronounced like in Spanish way, not "u", U from "U"ber . New year water festival is not unique, right but it was started in Myanmar, it is Myanmar's original tradition, later spread around SEA region later, just like Chinlone (caneball) it was also original from Myanmar, it became competitive sports when it was spread to Indo.
