You will be able to do a bike trip with your daughter like you did with your father. Congrats

Adam, my is daughter is !0 and she did already with me in my 125 cc trail bike parts of the portuguese TeT to get the taste of dirt and nature, so after she watched this educational video she is INSPIRED. Simple. Raw...main reason she like ride trails instead of tarmac is because she can talk with me! 🥰 Women... And other thing, when you do the trips with more drivers the brilliant part beside everything is the one you mock a bit with them, some of them are in need more than others is essential that spirit...you have been there too!

When I was 46 years old my wife and I separated. This was a very sad thing, but my two boys who were 11 and 14 at the time, and I was camping with Dirtbikes in the bush. My boys are now 18 and 21, they are both still riding and I have a truly wonderful relationship with both of them. I put this down to a few things, but dirtbikes were a massive part of that. And it kept me sane at the time. I love all your content, but especially appreciate your connection too family. Keep up the amazing work Adam. ❤

The spatial awareness built from riding motorcycles as a kid, riding around with others, is what made me a better, safer car / truck driver today.

I'm not a father but this is still undeniably beautiful. Thank you Adam.

My daughter turned 5 last year and wanted to ride Motorbikes with Dad too. We rebuilt an 82 pw50 last summer together and she's been looking forward to riding it again once it warms up. It's definitely terrifying setting them off for the first time and we've had some good crashes, But there's something to be said for being able to pick herself up and try again.

It's all about managed risk. Put the best gear you can on them and make sure to start slow. Looking forward to many years riding together.

I know a guy who is 70 years old and he brought up his son who is now 50 years old on dirt bikes. They still go out for rides and have that connection.

Adam, as a mother of 4, 1 girl, 3 boys, I absolutely love this. My children are now adults. They didn't have phones or computers in the early 90's. They were always outside doing something. What great memories you are making with your girls! Girls so need their dad. Love it!

I rode quite a bit as a young adult. Our youngest son was asking for a bike for a couple years and we finally pulled the trigger when he was 7. His older brother and sister took one ride and were convinced they needed to ride as well. So naturally I grabbed a bike (KLX300) to put around with them in the woods. Now I'm like 10 bikes deep and even the wife rides. She rocks a TW200. My oldest and her are both road licensed. I took my son on a 1000 mile adventure ride it was amazing!

As a father of one, with another on the way, I can only say that your parenting philosophy resonates so well with me.

My Daughter turns 35 Monday. Some of the very best times were on two wheels riding the mountains of east Kentucky. She was about eleven when she started. Grandson who is thirteen has been riding ten years now. I bought his first bike before he was one year old. If something happened to me I wanted to make sure Grandpa had him a motorcycle to ride. So at three he cranked it up. A Honda CRF 50. Still got it for the next version of heir. He's on a 125 now soon a larger one as well. Of course since he's the only grandchild he inherits my collection of RTW capable machines. I hope he goes much further than my long tracks. I'm teaching him all I can while I can. Something for you to do Adam. Lay the groundwork. Get them into photography and videography too. They will learn more about life on the trail than any amount of schooling can provide. Teachers who have been nowhere and aren't going anywhere know little or nothing about it other than what they read on a computer. All good from east Kentucky USA Mate. Raise them well. You are off to a good start. In time they will recall the happiest moment were on bikes with you.

My Dad bought me my fist bike at 7, it was a Puch Magnum X 50cc automatic & I’ve been riding ever since. My biggest regret in life is only doing one holiday abroad with him on our bikes, wish we’d done so many more.
After seeing your warhorse video he loaned me the money to buy an XRV650 which I’ve been restoring since December 2023. Unfortunately he passed away on 17th December 2024 so he won’t see it finished but it’s now his parting gift & a bike I’ll cherish forever.
Love your content, thank you ❤

Families that ride together, stay together.

Your analysis must be shared with our entourage who question our decisions to share our riding passion with our kids and gran kids. Love your videos.

Riding, hunting, fishing, screens are for rainy days or a limited time only. I think most kids enjoy the outdoors if they have someone to show them. There’s a whole lot to see and do out there 👍🏻

Adam- We started our 2 sons riding when they were about the same ages as your, starting on stepping stone XR's, TTR's, KDX's, 250's, 450's and on. We took them to tracks, the SoCal desert, rode thousands of miles on the forest roads of the Eastern Sierra and more. A few years later my wife, both sons and I spent 10-dayson an unsupported ride and camping trip riding the entirety of the Colorado BDR route in it's first year of existence. Got lots of stares, questions and comments when people realized we were a complete family doing an epic (for us anyway) long-distance ride together. Both boys, now in their 30's, often tell their friends it was one of the best experiences of their lives, and only possible because we allowed and encouraged them from the time they were little. Were there bumps along the way, you bet. Broken ankles, broken wrists, broken collar bones, too many bruises to even consider and more. I recently asked both of them if they had a chance to do things differently, would they forego riding dirt bikes? Absolutely not was the reply. We believe it provided them with confidence, coordination, skills, critical thinking abilities, problem-solving experience and a myriad of other benefits that far outweighed the risks, injuries, expense and time commitment invested. Both are having their own kids now, both intend to provide the same kinds of experiences to their offspring as we did for them. Kudos to you for putting your kids out there and giving them real-world life experience instead of digital facsimiles.

One of your best videos yet! Some of my fondest childhood memories were riding dirt bikes with my dad. My son is now almost 20. We started riding dirt bikes together about 7 years ago.

I’m a 65 year old father with 3 grown children. And I want to tell you that you are on the right path. Keep investing your time with them. You’ll never regret it. And they will one day thank you for it. Good job, Adam!
