This can happen too after you somehow mess up a driver install, just do a local reinstall of Windows after the Advanced Settings Screen pops up after 3 reboots

There is easy way to fix this.Restart your PC when the 1st logo appears click f2 you will see the bios menu now go to system configuration then Sata operation now you will see bunch of option to the right chose Ahci mode and boom fixed.

Edit: This fix only works in old pc
