Thank you so much! Just letting you know your video helped me out and I really appreciate it. Turns out your very first solution of switching SATA modes worked. Once again thanks, keep up good work 👍🏽

Thanks Brian, it's my backup PC and I have been meddling around for a few days and finally changed the SATA setting back and forth as you suggested and it came back to life, save me a trip to the repair shop, keep up the good work.

Thanks I gave it a try but even though I followed all the steps it did not solve my problem. I decided to do a reset and go from there. Microsoft and their Auto Updates are worse than a computer virus.

Updated my bios and drivers and got a bunch of these errors. Watched your video and quickly realized my bios settings had been changed from ACHI to onboard intel mechanic. Changed it back and it worked perfectly. Thank you for the help.

This is also known as a manual replacement of the registry from a working backup. I've done this on a WinXP system once. Works like a charm, this procedure, when it works. Great video.

I made a registry change to allow use of HIPM and DIPM, which led to the 'boot drive inaccessible' error on Windows 10.

Follow this guide to rename and copy the backup registry and it worked!!!

Just wanted to say thanks, a reinstall of Windows was my next step, so this was a welcome surprise.

Cheers again Brian. Been trying for a day an a half and like Ashish Agarwal says, it was iobit driver booster that caused my problems. My C drive SSD wasn’t even being recognized. Finally tried the safe mode and deleted that iobit and voila. The relief is like scoring a hat trick for Man Utd.

This was definitely a GREAT fix! I've worked in the IT field for a long time, majority of the experience in desktop support / sys admin, and this issue happens a LOT! I never knew you could use the regback method to restore a PC. How did you figure out this solution? Thank you for the great video :)

I can say myself that this worked using the last option, I had to restart again after getting the same start up error screen but chose to restart and it worked.

Cheers for providing this support video, for those still stuck I'd recommend this option before seeking professional help.

Thank you sir!!
For me: I messed around with bios, wouldn't boot, tried everything. Booted in safe mode and did restore.

Un-freaking-believable! My PC couldn't boot after a power outage and I've been trying to fix the problem for two weeks. Microsoft support has provided me no useful tip whatsoever, but you just did the trick for me! Thank you!

Thank you - the reg back solution worked for me, all other suggested methods and tutorials I followed else where did not work so this video was a massive help and was simple to follow. Thanks again!
