Finally a US market vehicle that is not an SUV but has plenty of space for weekend projects. Plus it drive like a sedan.

I care less whether it’s a wagon or SUV. If I like it, I like it. And I do like it!

The fact the concept version was called the Crown Estate tells you what this vehicle really is. And that is not a bad thing

"Remember the Matrix?"

Yeah, the Toyota hatch from the 00's. wait, that Matrix?

I can't be the only one whose mind went there.

Love a though we can't call it that

The reason they would call it an SUV is simple: because SUVs are cool and wagons aren’t. It’s a sales tactic.

Thanks for speaking on the headroom. With you being 6’4” I feel better about the low headroom. You are absolutely correct, no HUD is crazy to me

How would rate the power for passing on highways? I always went with V6 engines because the 4 cylinders didn’t have enough power when passing.

This vehicle feels like the 2nd generation of the original Venza. The back of this looks too close to the Corolla Cross’ rear end. This vehicle should appeal to the the customers who loved the legendary Avalon. Great review per usual dawg ✊🏾

But will it really do 39 mpg city? Or more like 30?

It is nice to see a wagon back on the market!

Good review and thank you for calling it what it is, a STATION WAGON. That's not anything to be ashamed of, it is a useful form factor. This doesn't have the ground clearance to even pretend to be an suv but it should be a very comfortable means of transportation and I bet will sell better than the venza it replaces. Stations wagons are back and it's a good thing.

They should offer the more powerful hybrid option from the Crown "sedan"

It's a wagon and I love the look. Now that the Fisker Ocean went out of business, it's a unique look

More wagons called SUVs is fine by me! This definitely looks better than the sedan. I'd consider this with a better powertrain.

Weird that Toyota USA calls it the Crown Signia SUV when Toyota Japan simply calls it the Crown Estate.
