My mom didnt want a pano roof, so for 44k, a storm cloud blue XLE was the perfect car for her to replace her old rav4. So glad it had just landed in the US when i was in town to help her car shop and these things blow the highlander and rav4 hybrids out of the water for "niceness" for someone who just wants an efficient suv/wagon thats comfortable and reliable.

This seems like the perfect vehicle for my dad! Super practical for our car trips, comfortable, reliable, fuel-efficient, and stylish. I kind of wish that this came with the Toyota Max powertrain, but that'll push this car into the $60s so maybe not.

Starting my morning off with a Toyota review 👌🏻. Nice job as always

This vehicle is perfect for me. Everybody's complaints about it is what I was looking for in a vehicle. During my test drive, I really liked the responsiveness of the throttle switching from eco to sport with just a flick down of the shifter. The vehicle is very sexy, and it doesn't even have the windows tinted yet😍.

2:14 that’s cool. Everyone should be doing this on a utility vehicle. My old Suburban had something similar to protect the front seats.

A tasteful lowering (1.5-2") would be just about perfect. Given that, you might be surprised I'd also opt for 19" or 20" wheels. The 21" look like a pothole away from bending on a vehicle this heavy.

To activate the Lane Change Assist, you have to hold the stalk halfway and then it will change lanes automatically

I have seen a lot of toyota crown in Japan and I fell in love instantly. Toyota harrier is also good

This will be my first sensible purchase on the used market. As for what I want out of a dependable and comfortable daily/road trip car it just trample the competition. I know it's not gonna scratch any of my enthusiast itches but I'll always have a horse in the stable for that. Hopefully this and a ND3 will be my two car solution.

Chris, The Signia shares the same powertrain with your Highlander. I am confident you will agree it would benefit from the same upgrade to 18" rims that you gave to your CUV. 😉I expect you will also agree that a cheaper Signia LE with 18' rims from the factory would be a welcome addition to the Crown Signia lineup. Thanks for the notice to double check the headroom, it is a pity that is a concern in a vehicle this size but certainly not a big surprise with Toyota's current designs.

finally an interior that isn't black like every other recent car, gotta admit the thumbnails have been difficult to tell apart the last month

My 09 Vibe GT just aged out of qualifying for Uber. This is a dream car for that, well until I find another IT position. Over a decade of experience and no one is hiring lol. Sorry, that's just me venting. Thanks for the video!

Just for curiosity, where did you receive your education for reviewing vehicles because your style is unique and your verbal approach is definitely your own or perhaps taught? Your sidekick has the same verbal approach and almost sounds identical to you and also does an exceptional job, so was wondering if that is taught, is there a specific schooling program that teaches you to sound as you guys do or perhaps a role model you guys look up to that suggest that style 🤷🏽‍♂️ Non the less I enjoy both of your contents of Topher and Substitute Topher so many thanks for that 🙏🏽♥️

I do wish they'd make a version with a crappier interior so I wouldn't feel bad about getting it dirty, cuz that thing would make a killer adventure wagon.

5:00 is anyone else just watching the little mouth in the reflection above the steering wheel lmao

Looks almost like the Soul Red from Mazda. Still wish the belt line is much lower and be an actual wagon.

Modern exterior, with retro futuristic interior.

For Lane Change Assist (LCA) to actually perform the lane change for you, hold the turn signal stalk up/down in position 1 (the half-step) instead of pushing it all the way up or down. This only works when LTA (lane tracing/centering) is on.

I don't think I could live with the decibel level under acceleration. I hear a lot of road noise in addition to the engine.

I wish this had the hybrid max powertrain, a HUD, and a little bit better sound deadening.
