PS: We used the term “vegetarian chili” since that’s what most people search for when looking for a bean/no-meat chili, but rest assured, this recipe (like all my recipes) is also vegan!

I made this chili this past weekend. It was incredibly delicious and the best I've ever had.. Every recipe I've tried from your collection has been excellent and this one is no exception. Thank you for your awesome recipes and helping me to be a better cook.

i made this, it took a WHILE but it was absolutely worth it, the fancy chili powder also got me excited about cooking this. I made a side of vegan rye bread packed with as many seeds as the dough could hold without becoming a crumbly mess and it was honestly a really good combo. this recipe and your channel inspired me to go vegan and my parents said it was the best chili they've ever had even without sour cream and cheese toppings (I insisted that they not un-vegan the VEGAN chili that I had spent the whole day making) it's got incredible depth of flavor, i also tied a bundle of cilantro stems and let it simmer with the rest of the chili.

Came for the brownies, stayed for the other amazing recipes. I have eaten a lot of shili in my life. Some time, some where, I may have had chili as good as this, but certainly none better. Thanks for the great recipe!!

FINALLY! Someone else that knows how to cook a “real” chilli! I’m an avid cook myself and honestly, my chilli takes several hours because there’s so many steps in creating layers and depths of flavour. in my opinion, time well spent and it tastes even better the next day. Bravo! Love it. xxx

Listen, I got my first dutch oven yesterday and this popped up and I knew it would be the perfect recipe, so I spend some pound at bougie Wholefoods to get the proper peppers and make powder for the first time and everything and it was so worth it, and so fun! Don't think I've ever taken a recipe so seriously. I am going away for a weekend with a vegetarian friend, so looked for a recipe that would suit us all. I think this may be the ticket. Had to source a lot of the dried chillies online here in the UK, but I'm sure it will be worth it. Thank you!!
