Behe's game is to find a gap in knowledge within the larger undeniable common ancestry framework, and claim that it doesn't fit, yet he can't positively demonstrate that. He has produced no scientific research/publication to support his claims. And in fact many of the systems Behe has claimed to be 'irreducibly complex' have been shown *not* to be. Neither Behe nor irreducible complexity has provided significant challenge to common ancestry.

This argument was presented in the Dover, Pennsylvania trial, and was proven to not be true. And the courts ruled in favor of evolution over creationism.

I greatly agree with the missing part statement. People would know, if they opened their minds - I'll ask; What happens when you build a house with a bad foundation? The answer is simple; The house would collapse over just a few years.
Also if you were to build an Airplane without a Tail fin, how would it fly? The simple answer is it can't. The missing part - (Tail fin) has to be built WITH the other parts, other wise that would make it impossible to steer the Airplane properly and would crash.

The mouse trap is a very poor analogy and indicates one of the drivers of evolution. Take one of the parts out and it still works, not as well but hey nothing is perfect.

Random mutation plus natural selection guys. That's how cells came to be. You assume that complication implies design yet many systems, such as the mandlebrot set, show remarkable complexity from very simple rules. You don't need an invisible hand for cells to evolve over billions of years.
