Tell me you don't understand evolution without telling me you don't understand evolution. Also missquoting Darwin <3 I love it

I was confused until I saw which channel posted this.

"We haven't changed"
😂
There are a great number of phenotypes that have arisen in the last 200, 000 years.
Blondism, blue eyes, pale skin, monolids, lactase persistence, new haplogroups...

It warms my heart when I see scientifically literate people in the comments debunking silly dishonest arguments like this.

I love how, reading these comments, people are so narrow minded that they can’t except the fact that scientists could actually have been wrong for the past hundred years. As if they never have before.

That's because Darwin's material is outdated. The theory of evolution has advanced far since Darwin's days.

This guy is confusing Jean-Baptiste Lamarck and Darwin.

Darwin's theory concerns SPECIATION through NATURAL SELECTION. And no, there wasn't a conundrum concerning the "continuity" of changes, as NATURAL SELECTION means that if the changes have reached a limit or ceiling of selection pressures, then adaptation is already optimized to the point that CHANGES MINIMIZE OR HALT due to a lack of competition or steadiness in the environment-- among other things.
There is a reason why alligators and horseshoe crabs are practically identical for tens and hundreds of millions of years, respectively.

Grain of salt, this.

In the 160 years since Darwin we've learned quite a bit! We evolved, the evidence has been found, no matter what some lunatic posts on YouTube.

I like that his theories and ideas are more questions rather than statements. Rather than the “we know this is how it happened, end of discussion”, it’s more a conversation about what’s possible. Maybe we are a species with amnesia, and maybe we did it to ourselves.

Jeezus this guy knows how to ignore all the evidence of evolutionary biology.

Darwin Did an excellent job in his time

Poppycock. Humans didn't 'appear', fully formed, 200, 00 years ago, we evolved to that point and are continuing to evolve.

Darwin didn’t work with human evolution, he described evolution and some of its mechanisms in explaining the origins of species over time. Misinformation from start to finish here. This is thinly disguised creationist nonsense. I expect annunaki in the comments. Sigh.

There is no problem. There is enough to show common ancestry

I’ve been arguing this fact since HighSchool and I’ve been ridiculed ever since. The question being, If evolution is a fact, why is there no contemporary evidence to explain it?
Where’s the missing link?

We've discovered several significant genetic changes to humans well after we emerged ~300, 000 years ago... for starters, European lactose tolerance is only 5, 000 years old.

Do these kinds of channels just assume nobody will bother to fact check them?

I’m confused though? We have 30 complete Neanderthal skeletons at the very least, with the remains 400 others with missing remains. And there are in fact clear physiological differences between us Cro-magnon like Sapiens, and the Neanderthals? So how do you explain the Neanderthals, and the fact that some us, like me, have a clearly Neanderthalis brow ridge compared to other Sapiens who don’t? Yeah I don’t know man. I can’t entirely buy in to this.
