The best exercises are always the simplest ones instead of overly complicated ones its almost like as if exercise doesn't have to be overly complicated

The micro-movements to adjust the other forces acting on it actually helps build more fine motor movement. I've done these when training for boxing. Accuracy and power is key. This isn't gimmicky

He’s not trying to isolate a bicep curl. This is a a more difficult vartient that loads the bicep while the forearm and wrist aren’t contracted. Also, there is a lot more stabilization going on in the surrounding muscles. This obviously isn’t for beginners, but the way you talk about it makes it seem like you aren’t very educated in fitness.

I would have to disagree on that. Rings exercise are dope (such as rings dips) BECAUSE of the instability.

well, maybe hes working on stability. i dont think this is ALL this guy is doing. shit like this(unstable moves that requires balance ) is good for working the stabilizing muscles and joint health and doesn't take much from your mucsles in terms of recovery time because of low resistance (cuz u cant do it heavy)

I don't agree, this exercise is meant to take away the forearms from the movement which it does perfectly, notice how his palm is facing upwards all the time and that he doesn't go full range of motion? That is bicep activation at its peak!!!! But yeah some people just have start working out consinstently instead of focusing on excercises specifically

I personally think this exercise is even more effective than the normal curls because, when you do exercise the same way as the guy in the video you turn to do it more slowly cuz you are trying to stabilize the ball which is more efficient and puts more intense on the biceps mean while when you do the normal curls, you do it fast and not so efficient 👍
But it’s not for beginner though more efficient
