Hey, here where I live you can get an iPhone 6 plus for $1 on contract... Or even better, if you already have a contract with them you can switch the contract to your new phone and still only pay $1. Now that's really neat!

The moto x I think but correct me if I'm wrong is 1 cent for the 16gb model (on a 2 year contract). It runs android 4.4.2 KitKat, is very fast and has moto maker. It is one cent including moto maker, add 25$ for a wood backing

I have the Samsung Galaxy Stellar on Verizon because it was free.I kind of wanted a bigger screen because I have biggger hands but it's a great phone.

1superalex, the nexus 4 on Google play is still 300$, on eBay you can get an unlocked 16gb nexus 4 for ~250 and What big upgrades are there really ? Not many

Although the monthly plan may be high, some people are paying that much anyways because they need cellphones for business or whatever they need it for.

So if you're paying that much anyway monthly, might as well have a nice phone.

I love how the Nexus is not only cheaper than the s3, but is an arguably better phone overall. It's a high end phone for a low end price.

You may be able to "buy" the phone with the loose chage the you found in the couch or under the car seat, but you've got to tke into account how much the 2yr contract is going to be every month
