You can get 144Hz on M2 Mini's HDMI 2.0 port. As long as it's under the bandwidth of 4k 60Hz, you'll reach it. On M2 Pro Mini, it's HDMI 2.1. 2.1 has variable refresh rate and a higher bandwidth. You can also get variable refresh rate on M2 Mini but on Thunderbolt ports only

Videos like this are immensely helpful! So many reviewers sell the stats, and “Why you need this machine”. Having a video that is “What you actually need” is huge. I need to build a new work set up, but I don’t an M2 Ultra to process 8k video through 3 monitors while streaming. That’s what reviews normally lean towards, and why this video is so vital!
