Hey Chris, I actually have the exact same model. I did a quick search for you about the firmware and it seems there is no new software for it. I wouldn't worry about it if i was you. and for the flickering. I think it might just be a qwirk. Mine will have a small 5-10 second delay from when i turn on my computer till it shows a display. I would just leave it alone.

What video converter can you use to convert other formats to play via the USB port. Tv says need jpg motion 320x No other formats are working.

I've had this same TV for about three years now with no problems. I have tried to upgrade the firmware a couple of times; the last time was a couple of months ago. Sanyo has not provided an upgrade for this TV yet. Hope this helps.

Hi! I have the same exact model, and I love this tv.
My main problem with it, is the last couple of months, if there is an ambient sound (my character is walking around, not shooting. Or there is a break in the dialogue in a movie for a few seconds) the sound just shuts off. Until something happens again, then the sound turns on.
Not sure what to do, and it’s extremely frustrating...
