I know you gotta have it watered down, the knockdown hides a lot of stuff but doesnt required skip trowel work, the mud is a texture mud or all purpose, dont use a hot mud. Oh amd that is a harbour freight tex gun using the smallest tip that comes with it.

You can tell how sloppy this guy is by looking at the drywall mud lines...I'm not a drywall guy I'm an electrician and low voltage guy
