I just sat here for the longest time not writing a comment, because I was/am so stunned. Now that I let the song sink in I am compelled to honestly say this song is the most pleasant Beatle/McCartney song I have heard in decades. I truly have heard a billion "rarities" Yes, I counted, maybe I am off by two :o) ... and this was the most pleasant surprise. TY for providing us all with it.

sound quality similar and kind of reminds me of the early Lennon demo "I'm in Love." Both songs should have been fleshed out and on Meet the Beatles. Both better than Little Child or Till there was You.

LR said it well in their comments below. This simple throwaway song from Paul has a lot in common with todays pop charts. But back then better stuff was coming. Today it will probably only get worse.
