The first time I heard this lyric I didn't really understand it because I was overanalyzing it, but when you just take a step back it really doesn't have a specific meaning. And that's kind of the beauty of it. But what it means to me is that its up to you to make a change, and that's beautiful.

Not sure how many know that Paul came to NYC recently for an anti-gun rally. He mentioned that he lost his friend John to gun violence in NYC. He took personal responsibility in a way so many do not. No pomp, no circumstance. Just pure LOVE.
