Ah yes, canon in d. Every cellists favorite piece.

Basically every instrument.

But, once in a while there is some 5 minutes where you can touch anything blindfolded and you feel like the next best musician to ever born on the planet.
Those 5min are gold.

As a cellist, I literally flinched when I heard Canon in D 😭

As a cellist I find this very relatable! It’s the ‘where is my music?’ For me lol. Or when you practice for a while, you can’t get it right, your bowing arm starts to hurt, and then you just get up to ‘take a break’ and you forget to put your cello back into its case.

Just picked the cello up again after two years and all my family wants to hear is canon D 😂

Likely situation: You finish practice. You are a bit tired. You place the cello beside you on the floor sideways, thinking ‘I’ll put it away later.’ A week passes. You trip.

My pencils often go missing - and I don’t have a child to blame😂😂!!

That repetition is fundamental is something most non-musicians don't understand. I'm sooo glad my hubby is also a musician!

Pachebel wrote the first 8 measures of the cello part of Canon in D...and then DIED ~Stephen Sharp Nelson

As a cellist myself, this is very relatable. I tould my friend I was learning how to play Rush-E and they thought I got on my first try.

“Where’s my music” is too accurate. Pain of memorizing your piece and then forgetting one note.

As a cello player, I can relate to this
