What if Eastern Rome fell instead of Western Rome?
What if Eastern Rome fell?
What if Eastern Rome never survived?

This video will be different. I will try to change the position of Western and Eastern Rome. In this timeline Eastern Rome will suffer more, while Western Rome will be able to hold its own. And I will start with one POD
and that would be where all the invasions would start to go towards Eastern Rome. In OTL this was the case, but the Eastern part of Rome was always successful in defending itself from the Barbarian invasions. This
video won't be a video where we will discuss how Western Rome survives, but how Eastern Rome could fall.
After the Battle of Adrianople it is said that the Visigoths tried to take the city. Although the Visigoths won the battle, they were never really able to totally take over the city of Adrianople. Moreover there have been confusing accounts where Tracia and other parts of Eastern Rome have been given to the Visigoths who were a foederati. So instead of not being able to take over Adrianople, the Visigoths would settle in there. Some smaller invasions were attempted of course on the Western Rome, but Western Rome would miraculously defend itself, while Eastern Rome would start to get more and more cracks from the inside.

More Germanic tribes would come to Eastern Rome and Eastern Rome would be the one that is split among the different barbarians. Instead of a Romulus Augustulus we could a Justinialus who could be the alternate last emperor of Eastern Rome. But that is now impossible to decide. While Western Rome could defend itself especially in the area around the Alps, the Danube and the Rhine, Eastern Rome would diminish as power.
