I’m so sorry for the small and hard to read text. It’s the best i could do.

It's actually pretty likely that if Byzantium took hold of Indonesia, it would still be called Indonesia, as it's made from two Greek words, Indos meaning Indian and nesos meaning island (+the suffix -ia which means "the land of")

Nicely done! It must have been hard to find about the leaders after 1453, Constantine the IA'. Very cool job!

The great empire of the blank white background was soon beaten, and soon a new power, the blank greens took power, but the blank yellows rebelled in eastern Africa and southern Arabia.

How bosnia become a emirate If ottomans never arrived?

One little nitpick about the Levant. Seeing as it was under consistent Orthodox overlords since the late 1500s, plus the fact that many crusades were launched into the Levant, that would make the Levant heavily Orthodox, which would lend itself to complete Byzantine integration.

The same wouldn't be for the Egyptians, who after having crusades plus rebels taking over the sultanate, would lead to Egypt becoming a Coptic stronghold. Copts hated the Orthodox, so vassalage or loose association would be preferable.

I loved this video, but i have some questions. How did the balkans achieve modern day alike borders whitout Byzantine intervention? Why is bosnia a emirate if the ottomans never arrived? Why does Russia have so much land in 1571? Why does romania even have that name? A realistic one may be Daco-Roma.

That was great you put a lot of time and effort into it

How did the invasion in 1708 succeed? There is such a great distance, advancing along the coast could mean an encirclement, and the byzantine position would mean it would have naval dominance, meaning no landing could cut off Constantinople. Even if something like that somehow happened, the city is defended, had massive grain storage, and an underground fresh water system prepared for siege. Let's also not discount the walls and Greek Fire the Byzantines had, which was only available to them. Coupled with modern canons, it could have turned into a deadly rain of fire, like a canon of fire. The most that would happe is a concession of Wallachia and Moldavia, with the new border being along the Danube River. I also find it hard to believe that an orthodox state like Russia (who saw the Byzantines as their parent state) would wage a war to tear apart the Byzantines, throwing them into a period of decline.

What's with all the empresses? I think the number of female rulers is unrealistic. And the Byzantines already had several emperors named "Alexios", which is basically the same as "Alexander".

You seem to think that medieval nations would have relations like nations do today, which is plain wrong

Great video, but just one problem. Bosnia would’ve never been an emirate if the ottomans hadn’t existed.
