What Happens When you put a Xbox 360 game into a Xbox One X

Hi, this video shows what happens when you put a Xbox 360 game disc into a Xbox One X Console.

Note that even if your Xbox 360 game is really scratched, it will still work in the Xbox One because it is not copying data from the disk. The discs would have to be in perfectly good condition to pull data from that disc on the xbox 360.

Just wondering
The way you would know if a game for the original Xbox and Xbox 360 is compatible on the Xbox one is that it has a digital download on the Microsoft store isn’t it?
And then I’ve just thought does it works with all those games the console can run even work as a disc based copy instead of a digital download

Hi. Do you know if a US region-locked 360 disc will work on an Asian X1 console? Or an Asian region-locked 360 on a US X1 console? Do you have a video showing this?

The backwards compatibility features are weird. I put the physical disc for jedi knight jedi academy and it worked fine. But when I put the ninja gaiden black disc in it said it wasn't playable.

I put my 360 disc in but it doesn't read it makes a sound for a second but if I put in a xbox one game it will read play fine etc

It doesn't work. Ive got 360 games that are listed on the website, and 360 games that were marked as backwards compatible, and they do not even show up when the disc loads up.

The amount of people who cannot be bothered to check the bloody compatibility list on Microsoft website, one Google search would have revealed it in the top searches.

But what happens if you have like a special edition video games for the 360 and it says the game is on the compatible list... does it have to be a normal video game it doesn't matter if it's a special edition one or not?

I put in Call of Duty Black Ops 2, which is compatable, but it won't play.

Super streetfighter 4 arcade edition is on the backwards compatible list yet i keep gettin the same message sayin its not allowed..please help me find a solution
