For those that don’t know, drain cleaner can even eat through plumbing pipes if not flushed properly. I’m not sure if I should specify that your body is generally less resistant to most corrosive substances than plumbing pipes…

About three months ago a news story came out about a male doctor installing a hidden camera. The camera cought the Drs wife (also a doctor) pouring drain cleaner into his drinks. So unfortunately this line of particular abuse and attempted murder has occurred recently.
Thank-you for covering the affects that drain cleaner can have on the human body.

I was involved in taking care of a boy who accidentally drank pure drain cleaner from a soda bottle that his dad used to fill at work to bring it home for his personal use.
It was quite the ordeal for this kid, with repeated gastroscopic procedures to dilate the scarred esophagus.
Please be careful with putting dangerous chemicals into unlabeled and unprotected containers, especially soda bottles. Kids might just drink from it.

I recently came across the story of a well known guy who drank Radium back when they thought it would 'energize' the body and they had no idea of what radiation actually does.
Would be incredibly interesting to see you handle some of these old documented cases and explain the difference between medicine/doctors back then and now.
