I knew the Wii U was unable to play music cd's, I was just curious. I still think that sucks tho. My 5 disc cd player that I've had for many years crapped out on me a few months ago. With 5 discs in it nonetheless. Needless to say, I was beyond seething. Thankfully my dad was able to help me get the discs out and they weren't damaged. But I was beyond upset that I no longer had a cd player. Yeah I have music on my laptop, I have an Amazon Alexa, and do have a blu ray player, but it's not the same as listening to a cd in an actual player. So I've been on this tear for months trying to find a new cd player. If the Wii U COULD play actual cd's, that would be so awesome! I think I'm stuck in the 90's XD

Invalid disc. The disc could not be read. Press the eject button, remove the disc, and check that the label side is facing the proper direction and displays either the Wii U or Wii logo.

I tried that and mine said “Wii U Cleaning disk”
