Bill Burr : "I'm not really an actor"
Also Bill Burr : *Here is how you accurately portray a PTSD attack while delivering an action sequence and drama sequence at the same time*

How does Bill Burr have a better ex-stormtrooper arc in 3 mins than Finn in a film trilogy?

One of the most interesting things about this scene is how it seems to have resonated with combat veterans across the spectrum. My best friend is a retired Marine who served in Iraq and he's never been a Star Wars fan. He decided to give the Mandalorian a shot and said that Bill's line "was it good for them? Their families? The guys I served with? Civilians?" and that whole monologue hit him right in the chest

Burr fucking kills this scene but don't sleep on Richard Brake - few can make a character that despicable in a few minutes of screen time

At 2:30 Bill Burr's acting coach told him to think about a toaster that requires an app to operate.

Imagine yourself in his place and you're sitting across from a man who helped personally wipe your way of life and world out of existence, brags about it, marginalizes it, and then toasts to the accomplishment.

Honestly, Bill gave such an amazing performance that I utterly forgot he's a comic. The facial expressions that subtly progress throughout the scene toward him losing control are top tier.

Who knew that the guy who made a career trashing Star Wars nerd and nerd culture would steal the show

What sticks out for me in this scene is how, if the officer had displayed literally _anything_ resembling basic empathy, he might've walked away from the table alive. But he _just couldn't resist_ gloating...

Officers in the OT: 🇬🇧
Officers in the Mandalorian: “yeehaw, the empire will rise again!”

Ok Bill burr stole the show for sure, but Pedro was killing it too, loved the awkward vulnerability he had until he put the helmet back on and then it was instantly back to business.

Didn’t expect Burr to be such a good actor

This scene is probably my favorite in the entire Mandalorian series. It just shows the reality of the trauma and disregard the Empire caused to people. This is exactly why I love the hell out of Andor as well. It felt real.

Ole Freckles being modest while delivering one of the most bone chilling acting performances I've ever seen.

Bill Burr plays a freedom fighter with PTSD perfectly and Richard Brake kills it as the Snarky, slimey Empire scumbag, this scene is magic!!!...

Casting Richard Brake as a slimeball imperial officer was such a beautiful move. Burr's performance here is legendary. Easily in the best performances in Star Wars history.
