I was diagnosed with an enlarged heart last Thursday after a stress test on the treadmill and an ecosonogram right afterwards but my cardio doctor didn't really explain it too well. He just doubled my bp medication. Metoprolol from 50 to 100. I was so worried about it but I feel a little better after I saw your video, thanks.

Thank for this information, my Dad died when I was 9 years old. My mother said he had an enlarged heart and the his valves had become too large, a surgeon her in Salt Lake City, Utah tried to help him but he died shortly after walking up from the surgery. The Doctor said his heart was the size of a football. Please don't delay seeing your doctor for this condition. My father was turned away from the Mayo Clinic because they said they could not help him. A local Dr. here in Utah performed a valve replacement but my father could not survive the second surgery.

after XRAY and ECG, the result was that my father had an enlarged heart (cardiomegaly) on January 15th, then the cardiologist prescribed medicine for anti stroke and heart beat but my father had trouble breathing at night so he stopped the medicine first, he also prescribed medicine for cholesterol and sugar but my father didn't take it because another doctor advised us to just diet in order to lower cholesterol and FBS. we use red rice, no sugar, himalayan salt, added also a little cayenne pepper in the dish. He stopped drinking alcohol and smoking. Papa had a 2D Echo yesterday and we're praying for a better result this week.
