The pain I went through in nursing was to deliver others. For so long I hid my pain. I kept it to myself because I was made to feel like a failure. I was so ashamed. I also just escaped a narcissistically abusive marriage so I was going through a double portion of pain. You can not even imagine how the pain felt. It felt like being trapped in an ongoing nightmare that I couldn't escape from.
When I finally left nursing, I felt a great release and relief. I felt like I would put it behind me and keep moving forward. I was still suffering greatly because I was going through a narcissistically abusive marriage and dealing with narcissistically abusive family members. I just wanted it to all be over. It was so hard. I held unto Jesus Christ and my faith because I knew only he could see me through.
No matter what you are going through, just know that sharing it is not really for yourself anymore; it is for setting others free. Your testimony will deliver others. You will become a voice of freedom and deliverance! You will become a beacon of hope.
