Gilmour - Use my song? Hell, I'll play it with you! Speaks volumes about the man. So glad he's been shown and continually make opportunities to make his music. For this WE are all blessed.

This is essentially what I wanted when Waters remade the song a couple of years ago. Thank you, Ice T, for making it happen and to Gilmour, for not only agreeing to it but helping making it epic.

Comfortably Numb is far and away my favorite Floyd song, so I had my doubts. But this is outstanding AND relevant to our times.

As someone who grew up in the 1970s as a huge Pink Floyd fan (I was an insufferable prog rock/fusion snob as a young man), I have to say I was a bit apprehensive when I heard that David Gilmour was working with Ice-T and Body Count on a cover/re-imagining of “Comfortably Numb”. The original is such an iconic song, and I’ve heard lots of lame and boring covers over the years that I honestly had very low expectations. But I have to say, this version ROCKS!!!

Like most of you, I had no idea what to expect when I saw this. Whatever I would have expected had someone just told me it existed, I can say I am pleasantly surprised. It's going to take several listens to fully grasp what's happening but of the first experience I can say I now want to spend the time to fully grasp this. Well done for everyone involved.
