Cleaning the throttle body is necessary to keep your engine performing at its best. Over time, dirt and carbon deposits can accumulate on the throttle plate, disrupting the air-fuel ratio. This can lead to symptoms like a rough idle, poor gas mileage, sluggish acceleration, and in worse situations, engine stalling. That’s why it’s important to clean your throttle body every 60,000 to 80,000 miles, depending on your vehicle.

Heyo, i just got a fresh Wof and service done on my car, but it’s making this light squeak/squealing noise when idling, but is perfectly fine the second i apply the accelerator. I’ve got an 08 Mazda 3 2.3L. The lads at the shop didn’t mention anything about it. it was not my regular place, so I’m less inclined to trust them, nor do i usually go through drive in garages. Any chance this is normal and i’ve just never noticed it before? I had an 04’ before this one, but i don’t remember it ever making such noises. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks for your time 🤙

Yikes! Glad my old 2001 Saturn SL2 requires only about 30 minutes of so to do this job!
