i plugged in an internal hard drive from a laptop to another one with a usb cable and system reserved works fine but local disk doesn't open it doesn't have a size showing or anything and the command doesn't work for it

My external HD powers on but does not show up in disk management area and when it did there was no drive letter to use in order to do the chkdsk. What then?

thanks your method did work, but i only used the CMD command you left in the description which took a second .you know your stuff, but if the clip focused on the method that works, then ok, , you could perhaps make another clip with the stuff re: older systems, then folks whom have these will tune in.

I have an ext drive that works perfectly, never had any difficulty with it. But windoze repeatedly announces There's a ptoblem There's a problem Shall I fix the problem (which you know from bitter experience with windows means Shall I invent a problem). How do I make windoze just shut up?

corruption was found while examining files in directory<2057> <2058>, the number kept increasing and sometimes in between those messages it displays An error occurred while examining files and directories. What should I do now, I don't care about data in the card I just want this sd card to work properly, as usual, Card is of 64 GB and it is in ex-FAT format.

Only linux can see the drive windows 7 bluescreens win 8 freazes windows xp wants to format and bluescreens linux says use chkdsk dos ignores the drive my tv works fine but cant get it off
