When it comes to washing and drying your laundry, you may think you already know all there is to know, but there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure laundry day runs smoothly. Samsung washing machines require high efficiency detergents. These have an HE symbol on the bottle so check for that before starting a wash. You’ll need to add the detergent, fabric softener, and/or bleach into the appropriate compartments before running the cycle. Be sure that you don’t go above the max-fill lines in the compartments. If you prefer detergent pods to liquid detergent, you can just toss those straight into the drum before adding your clothes. If your washer has an auto-dispenser, then doing laundry just got a whole lot easier! Simply load the dispenser with detergent and you should be set for several loads. Just be sure you enable the Dose per Wash setting on your washer. If your washer won’t start, check to make sure Child Lock is disabled. To disable it, press and hold the indicated two-button combination on your washer model until the child lock indicator turns off. After each cycle, keep your washer door open to prevent mildew. It’s also a good idea to run a self-clean cycle and clean out the pump filter monthly. When it comes to your dryer, things are a bit simpler! Just make sure to only put clean clothes in your dryer and to clean the lint filter after every dry cycle. Watch this video for more details.
