You can actually see LESS with taking pictures in 16:9 as it CROPS a 4:3 image to make it 16:9.
That's why i ALWAYS take photo's in 4:3, so it gives you more of the scene to work with.

You don't "see more" with 9:16 over 3:4 though.. 9:16 simply crops out info from 3:4. I personally shoot in 3:4 then crop in post to 16:9 or 21:9.

anyone else have the galaxy a51? the front camera seems to be really laggy. i tried it on snapchat, instagram & the built in camera app on the phone and it all seems to be laggy. is there a fix for this?

I have set camera settings for max stabilization & fps videos, I like more smooth but 1080p videos than 4K but shaking + it also doesn't take much storage, Also for photos I've set to 1080p because for me it's enough, usually I use it only for taking pictures of objects & documents

Why does that phone has the rear video size option, my Samsung A52s 5g does not have that

Using anything but 3:4 doesn't use the full sensor. Also, why manually set the camera to record video in 4K or 8K (<-which crops in a lot btw) if you're then going to set it to Super Steady which is limited to only 1080p? Super Steady uses the ultrawide lens/sensor and just crops it in really far with electronic image stabilization. That's the main reason why it works so well but you won't even be using the main sensor (that has much better resolution, dynamic range, sensor size, etc).

actually 4:3 uses the full sensor so don't use 16:9 because it crops

What if you don't have an "intelligent feature" section in your camera settings? I've reset the settings multiple times and nothing pops up. I can't scan QR codes. It doesn't give me that option.
