What does it mean "Perhaps" God will grant them repentance? I thought God wanted everyone to repent and be saved? Understanding 2Timothy 2:25 Deconstructing Calvinism

Really appreciate your spirit in this. Also wanted to ask what study software do you use here?

I think your explanation is correct. I harmonizes with the overall nature of God throughout scripture, especially the New Test., which Christ portrayed and spoke of while here on earth. Doctrines which cannot help but bring God's character in to question are not of God IMO. It is Satan who always questions God's character.

@GuiltyFromBirth I think what is missing from mainstream Christianly is the why did God create the earth and me? I know Sin is wrong and I know Jesus can save me from our Sins (not in our sins). I wish people would really learn more about the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

So blind God haters who crucified Christ in their nature come to God on their own do realize the ludicrousness of that your natural life or spiritual life in your eternal life are God's doing. You're doing you are justified by the Faith of Christ

Your argument fails. Paul says that God may perhaps grant THEM repentance. Who does them refer to? To the opponents. This is 1:1 language. When I say: “Jake, John and Mark are free today. I may perhaps call THEM”. Would that include that one of those I can’t actually call? Of course not. Similarly, Paul says God may perhaps grant THEM repentance. This means God might grant it to anyone of them. So your argument fails because Hebrews 6 says it’s impossible for apostates.
