In TV/movie land, Harvard rejects Alex Dunphy and Paris Gellar. But they let in Elle from Kissing Booth.

There are two very important issues here:
1) Alex understands that she isn't going to be number 1 academically all the time, which is ok.
2) Alex is actually right about being angry, making all those sacrifices, having so few to no friends at all in order to spent that time studying to reach the college you want, just so that college tells you that you're not good enough.
