Tbh I hated Rory because Paris kept failing for little reason. Paris was mean asf, but she did literally everything right. Rory literally had the main character just written on her forehead and shit just worked out for her even though Paris was the one that basicallly got her to the finish line. It felt like Paris was never allowed to win because Rory existed.

I know what that feeling is like, spent forever working towards Oxford uni, playing drums for years, spend most of free time bulking up the PS, and then not even make it to interviews. But it all works out anyway, in Cardiff uni now (Welsh btw) and working towards my dream of a PhD. No matter what, never give up, stuff will work out ❤

Paris' efforts deserved a Harvard admission, but don't forget her interview was recorded. The very purpose of the interview it to find (and filter) those candidates. "Having to" go to Harvard and "wanting to" go to Harvard has a surprisingly thick line in between.
