Of course it’s not Evil!! It’s what this planet runs on. It gives everyone the cushy lifestyle we enjoy in this world! Thank God for fossil fuels

If fossil fuels are evil, stop using anything plastic, driving your car (roads and tires use petroleum products also, and don't forget the lubricants), or using electricity. If you think all electric is the answer, good luck creating enough to power everything safely, without some fossil fuels, and good luck setting up that extensive of an electrical system, without the use of petroleum products to manufacture and maintain the system. If carbon emissions are the real issue, then why are there so many internal combustion engines without any catalytic conversion, or any sort of push to make that happen. There are motorcycles, lawn mowers, boats, snowmobiles, snowblowers, leaf blowers, weed eaters, generators, construction equipment, farm equipment, and surely some others I have missed that spew carbon emissions, but no regulations or even attempts at regulations. The reason is, the forced switch to EVs is about money, contracts and kickbacks, for the forced switching of the public into these things. Yes, we do need to diversify our energy sources and consumption, but good luck living without petroleum products and maintaining our current lifestyles.

PS.... and Charlie is not only right about using the other guy's oil 1st, but it has been a matter of national security in the US for some time to make sure we have plenty of oil for our military. At one time, we were the largest consumer of petroleum products, just for our military alone. This would be another hush, hush reason to force people to switch to EVs and use climate change as an excuse for why we can't use crude oil. I refuse to argue with anyone about it the, since they will likely think the government and media and tell us the truth.
