Wow! Dem articulated screens from the new cameras would be helpful then for these kind of shots. Thanks Beyond Photography!

Thank you Andrew, I love watching your videos as you always seem to share the things that go wrong too which is important to see as we all mess up! 😁

As you back away from your subject, lower your camera angle but if you want to really screw up shoot 3/4 or close up low you get nostril shots! When photographing portraits close up or 3/4 a few degrees above the nose to hide the nostril holes is a must. I agree shooting head height with a normal or wide angle lens is most unflattering.

Lovely 🔥🔥🔥. Shooting in live view is also another great way of shooting low. It gives you the liberty shooting very low without the stress of kneeling or lying down

Great tips! When is Nikon ever going to introduce the fully-articulating screen? That's one reason I love my Canon and Panasonic cameras. I did a shoot of a bridal shop (wedding dresses store) with the camera upside-down, near the floor, on a monopod. They absolutely loved them. I guess they were used to always seeing photos taken at eye-level, so it was something new. Andrew brings up a great reminder to not always shoot from the same level. Of course, we all know it's the people in the background at Beyond Photography who make this such an awesome channel. hehe. I've said this many times before and I'll say it again - Andrew is BY FAR the best photography instructor I've seen yet. Your online courses are so worth the small price! You teach things that I've NEVER heard anyone else mention. I'm an old man, as some of you know, and I've watched THOUSANDS of hours of photography tutorials. There's just one other guy, a mostly-wedding photographer whom I won't mention (you can reply and guess, if you want to. I'll let you know if it's the guy I'm thinking of), that I think does an outstanding job. All the others pretty much repeat the same old things. But Andrew presents new ideas. And it's those differences that can really set your photography career ahead of the competition. Thanks to the entire Beyond Photography team for bringing us these great videos.
