PS5’s HDR and 4k causing screen problems!

Note: my tv is poo but this has been happening on other good tvs(LG,Samsung OLED)
I seen a couple people showing the same issue on Reddit and I thought I would show some people how to turn HDR off or 4k and make that stupid line go away.

First you have to make sure you have a 4K HDMI cable now for people who don’t understand what that is it’s a cable that looks like HDMI but it contains three additional strands of wire for a 4K signal also known as HDMI 2.0 now if you have a 4K display you need to make sure that HDMI 2.0 is turned on on the PlayStation 5 settings once you do that then your PlayStation five will work correctly with colors the PlayStation five is designed to work with 4K even though it’s supports 1080 P without 4K when using 1080 P make sure the PlayStation five is set to HDMI 1.2

Im having the exact same issue when hdr is on it looks purple and green. Defnitely not a gpu issue. Ot is a software issue.

Salut je viens de régler le problème après 1h30 😅 il a fallut que je reinitialise ma télé et plus de problème de blanc écrasé sur la l'image. J'espère que cela vous sera utile.

I fixed it just now lol, it is a hdmi cable issue. When you turn off the ps5. Hold the power button while it turns on until you hear 2 beeps. Then choose adjust videos setting sand choose hdpc 1.4 fixed my issue
