The world of electric cars is expanding all the time. With more electric offerings from more brands arriving on the scene every year, it creates more variety in alternative fuel vehicles while also making them more accessible. Electric cars are getting more practical and easier to afford. We’ve put together a list of the most affordable EVs on the market today. All these prices are going to keep consumers going after used cars and cheaper gas powered vehicles, if there not under 25k 80% of the consumer market can't afford it

A nice, good looking EV under 15K will be the best seller ever

It needs to be under 30, 000 to be affordable in my opinion.

All of these are anything but serious. When you get 300 mile range for less than $20, 000 then it might be serious

Everytime I see the 2 door Beetle - I think what a GREAT 2x car as EV that would be!

As others have said NONE of these cars can compete on price with their ICE (internal combustion engine) counterparts. They're all on average $10k more expensive. The government will have to offer large rebates to incentivize buyers. And by the way, why are most of them boxy SUVs? How about more sporty looking sedans?

I like that term " It's affordable " It's only affordable if you have the money for it.

I watched the video because of the title "CHEAPEST Electric Cars to Buy in 2022". But you only showed cars between 30, 000 and 55, 000$. > Total waste of time...

If Tesla and GM want tax rebate extensions. They should only be for cars with a price tag under $30, 000. So far the taxpayers have paid a big chunk of a lot of rich people's cars, And where's my car? I can't even afford to dream of spending over $30, 000. Even with the rebate it's close. It's time to start giving back to the people who do all the work, and pay all the taxes. And stop ripping them off with a $42, 000 bolt that burns the house down. Or the $35, 000 model 3 that cost $50, 000. Neither of them has earned a rebate extension.

The problem I have with electric cars is, not able to charge itself while driving, they should make one with a generator in it so that why you driving it will always keep the battery charged so you don't have to stop and plug in anywhere because you could be somewhere in the desert
