Glad you put the Ora cat as one of worst. They tried to tempt us with the £25k price tag then suddenly said it’s £32k. They deserve the worst award

The MG4, as a value proposition, is very hard to beat. Honestly, with it on the market ai am not sure the Leaf still has a reason for existing.

I think you are a great presenter. I am looking for my first electric car, and I do like the MG4, which has raving reviews. However nobody has mentioned that the 7 year warranty is a diminishing warranty and in reality its only a 3 year warranty according to MG downloaded warranty. Which in my mind reduces its appeal.

Really interesting. I live in France and have just got the updated Dacia Spring Expression. Small and nippy, big boot. Very little space for rear passengers, but actually apart from the dog, nobody sits in the back. Country lanes mainly, so nippy enough. Rear view parking camera, Apple car play and Android Auto. Love it.

Hi What Car.. Thanks for all your kind of videos. I do miss some cars in your comparisons, BYD Atto3 or the other smal cars from BYD are not included.
Hope to see an updated video soon with them included. I hade thoughts about buying an Atto3 in Sweden.

The Hyundai Kona and Kia E Niro should have been included. The Megane E-Tech is a far better car than ID.3 and Cupra but its not a VW?

Absolutely love my 500 but the on screen figure for battery size in this video doesn’t look correct (I think should be 42 of which 37 is usable) and WLTP is 199 rather than 206.

The Born's infotainment is identical to the ID3. It just has a different skin on it. The software and its foibles are all the same. It doesn't warrant being called ropey though. They are both basically fine once you are used to them.

I own a fiat 500e for 2 years and I can say it will never get close to the official range but the car itself is great as it's just me using it

Didn't mention the Zoe's very poor Euro NCAP rating.

Cupra is definitely the best looking and with a great range as well

Thanks Doug - totally agree that these are the EVs which are most relevant, and attainable, for the majority of consumers. Would include the Citroen e-C4 by virtue of its amazing ride quality and comfort, and decent range when using the ECO mode. Looking forward to the incoming e-308 and Astra also.

I took the MG for a test drive last autumn. I thought it was great. I'm not sure why there is so much focus on the exact quality of plastics used - I couldn't care less and am totally uninterested in luxury. Give me something that's comfortable, enjoyable to drive and is practical in terms of ferrying people or things. My test for any car is whether I can get my bike in the back with the seats folded down (haven't tested the MG for this).

What happened to the Hyundai Kona and Kia E Niro. Surely with their range and efficiency they should have featured.

If the MG4 could use a LFP battery for their Long Range variant then I’d be so on board!!! The standard base model doesn’t have enough range for me for me to invest in my first EV… I am very curious to see the Tesla Model 2 and Cupra Rebelborn in 2-3 years 🥲

The Citroen Ami has one thing right, which is that it doesn't offer any in car entertainment other than a bluetooth speaker. Anything more elaborate would eat into their meagre 70 km range.
When I am finally forced to buy an electric vehicle, the top speed - unless seriously below the motorway limit - and the 0-100 time - will be the last of my worries.
Purchase cost. range and charge times are probably most people's priorities and manufacturers need to focus on those first.

I am driving mini cooper SE now and it is the best car in the list here in terms of agility and cornering
I can get around 125 miles with normal driving but I can also push it to 150ish miles with eco+ mode (no ac) max regen
