If your program properly fluctuates the intensity and volume, your body never truly needs a Deload. If you’re going balls to the wall, trying to go super sayain 5 on every workout, for months straight, then yes you’ll eventually need a rest period

atleast For me after a huge 6-8week push to go up in numbers My progress session to session starts stagnating and after a 3-5 Day off period i start at 1-2 reps below My Rep work Max and blow past My maxes For The next 2 months
