I recently fell down a short flight of about 5 stairs in the basement. My roommate who was in the attic (3 floors up) heard and came to check it out. I did not scream, I did NOT call out for help. Falling down the stairs is NOT a quiet affair. It's BS that they 'didn't hear.'

My baby was due on Jan 18th, and I had her on Xmas Eve. Due dates aren't exact and emergencies do happen. Giving birth is one of the most beautiful yet traumatic events in a person's life. Leaving for a full month at 9 months pregnant for something so trivial would be an instant deal breaker.

"i found my dress!"
"Why were you in my closet?"
So, you knew it was in the closet. Interesting.

The one with the pregnancy...if it was me I'd say, if you go to Florida and leave me alone, expect to come home and live alone. The wedding will be off. Full stop.

"It's not fair that you get to drink on your nights."
You know what else isn't fair? Being visually impaired to the point that you *cannot legally drive.*

I had to subscribe after listening to you read the story about the woman who fell down the stairs and got ignored by her parents in law. Holy crap when you said the brother in law should shove that up his butt, I burst out, laughing and pressed the button.🤣

I hate that it's always up to the person who's been wronged to "keep the peace". No one ever tells the wrongdoer to just apologize or try and make it up to them. Instead the person who has been hurt has to play doormat and pretend that they aren't upset. I'm so sick of "keeping the peace" meaning sucking it up and doing whatever the aggressor wants. That's not peace.

Re: DNA testing. I found out that my Dad was not my Dad in my senior year at high school. We were doing a blood drive. When I had my blood typed, it turned out that I had a blood type that was a physical impossibility when my Dad's blood type was considered. That was when my Mom finally came clean.

There's no indication that the wife's mum was aware that her son-in-law hadn't agreed to the name Mune. Her daughter probably told her that the husband loved the name too. It's likely that grandma didn't care for the name, but she understood that it wasn't her decision to make.

For the first story and the friend who had the beer belly dad-I'd have looked at her and said "OMG I didn't know your dad was American! Why didn't you tell me?" LOL

"You have no right to make comments about my body" AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO MAKE COMMENTS ABOUT OTHER PEOPLES BODIES. Damn. Hypocrisy.

4:02 Either she goes with him or he stays home with her! These are the only real options here.. how can he even THINK about leaving her alone 9 MONTHS PREGNANT 😭😭

I love talking shit about America as much as the next guy, but dear lord there is absolutely a limit especially when it comes to generalizing an entire population (especially one of 300 million). Eventually, you're genuinely just being hateful.

I've dropped European friends for insulting my intelligence as an American. Some of the shit they said were racist too. Some people believe theyre entitled to be xenophobic, then get pikachu faced you won't put up with being Tom'd.

For the one where the step son wanted his step mother to babysit, even if it is actually her fault that they don't have a relationship because she mistreated him, she's not an ahole for this. You do NOT just cut off contact with someone and then expect them to help you later.

I traveled to 5 different European cities this year and was surprised by the rudeness I encountered without even doing/saying anything.

I was taught better than that and have manners so I didn’t respond but I think many people think it's trendy to hate on other countries and throw their manners out the window.

Disagree with the response to the parent dealing with the teen girl being bullied for being ugly.
Saying "you are average" seems like the best answer to me. Im pretty sure I had a dimilar conversation with my mum around that age too and that was her answer.

I say this bc having been theough the turmoil of being an unpopular nerdy girl in highschool, ik they may be dumb in many ways but they arent completeky stupid. If the parent had said "ofc you're beautiful" when she was asking for an honest answer, she would have immediately decided they were lying (whether they truly believed it or not)

"You are average-looking, like most people" is not "you are ugly"

Perhaps they could have added more to that like "you have a lot of growing to do" and "beauty isn't as important as your attitude" but I dont think their answer deserves a YTA response tbh

I'm a confirmed omnivore but would have zero problems with a vegan meal. I've had some really tasty vegan dishes. Some people just enjoy creating drama instead of behaving like adults.

With the charlotte situation, what is the neighbor going to do if he enrolls his kid in daycare where there is another kid named Charlotte? Is he gonna demand that the parents of that kid rename them?
