WHY I QUIT MY JOB... #TickerTake

Hey, you found me! I just left an incredible job on television to try something new! I’ve been covering the stock market for 25 years, interviewing top CEOs and many industry movers and shakers along the way.

Then, a couple of years ago, I started making videos for social media. I got so many great questions that I wanted to launch this YouTube channel, to dive deeper into the world of investing! So that’s what we’ll do!  

Why Ticker Take? Well, there are thousands of stocks and ETFs. They all have different ticker symbols. We’ll explore lots of them and talk to experts…getting their…ticker take!

Subscribed :) I’m a Canadian who’s worked in finance for about a decade and education around investing is sorely undervalued and misunderstood. Luckily I’m seeing a lot more people especially the young ones (who can’t afford a home and can blatantly see how overvalued and sham real estate in this country is) beginning to get into capital & equity markets whether it be through their institutions or DIY investing with a brokerage, and it is so awesome to see a new generation of wealth being slowly built there. Yet there is more work to be done !

I am new to the stock/crypto market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks. I believe having 175K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities.
