Ed wrote and dedicated this song to his friend and mentor Michael Gudinski who unexpectedly died in March, a legendary Australian record label founder and music producer, Ed has always said he was like a father figure to him. He performed at Michael’s State funeral in Melbourne and afterward wrote this song. A beautiful song and tribute to his friend.

I saw Ed live in Denver around the end of August. He started crying singing Eyes Closed. What a kind soul and sensational talent he is.
